My Services

Dog Walking

Before walking your dog I will be visiting your home to get to know you and your dogs, this will also allow the dog to meet and become familiar with me as well as giving me an insight on its behavior. For the first few walks I will spend one to one time with your dog so that I can really get to know it. If your dog is well behaved amongst other dogs I may put it into a group walk consisting of no more than 4 dogs all of which will be evaluated beforehand to ensure that they are a good match. I will only do this on your approval. My service includes pick up and drop off and can be tailored to your needs. I usually do 30 minutes or 1 hour slots as many times as you would like.

Doggy Daycare.

This allows your dog to come and play and socialize for either a half day session (3-4 hours) or a full day (up to 8 hours). We have an acre of private land with 6ft fencing which if full of toys equipment, tunnels and pools for your dogs to enjoy. We have a structured day with lots of fun and activities for your dog, they have access to a warm indoor area which is left open for the day and your dog will also enjoy a walk out. We have a variety of different breeds and ages that attend daycare and they all spend the day playing, you can be sure that your dog will be exhausted for the rest of the day !. We only offer daycare to people that book at least 1 day weekly, this is to ensure that we have a safe friendly environment where all the dogs are good friends, we can only accept sociable dogs that are not food or toy possessive, we can only accept neutered males (if old enough) and all new comers must have a behavioral assessment before joining.

Small Animal Sitting

It can be difficult to keep asking friends and family to look after your smaller friends especially if you are frequently away or you have to go away at short notice. Small animal sitting ensures that your animals are taken care of and you have no cause for concern. Before carrying out animal sitting I will come to your home to meet you and your animals and discuss my service with you. I can arrange for a daily visit for your smaller pets to tend to their needs i.e feeding, fresh water, cage clean, replace bedding and socialise with your pets, medication can also be given. I will be available from one to three times a day and I work in 30 minutes slots. Small animals include small mammals, cats, lizards, fish and any birds. I will also pick up your post, put your bins out and water your plants if required.

Dog Sitting.

Dog sitting is there to ensure your dog will be in a loving environment where their routine will continue with minimum disruption. Putting dogs in boarding kennels is placing your dog in a strange environment with unfamiliar noises and smells and this can cause your dog a lot of stress. I will visit your home a few times before you go away to get to know you, your dog, and how things work in your house. The benefits of dog sitting are:
• Complete peace of mind knowing that your dogs and property is cared for in your absence.
• Dogs will avoid the trauma of being transported to an alien environment.
• Eliminates the inconvenience to your family, friends and neighbours, who may not carry out your instructions.
• Avoids exposure to contagious diseases, sickness or parasites.
• Dogs will continue their regular routine and keep their environment.
• Your house will remain secure in your absence.
My services range from 1-3 visits a day where I will walk, water, feed, play with, clean up after, and socialise with your dog, medication can also be given. If required I will water your plants, pick up your post and put your bins out. I can tailor my dog sitting services to your needs.

24 hour sitting -This is where I will carry out similar services but stay in your home overnight, this may suit animals that don’t like to be alone or if your house needs protection. I will live at your house for the duration of your time away, I will supply my own food and not leave your house for more than 3 hours at a time this ensures that your dog is kept happy and your property is secure at all times.

Pet Taxi

Pet taxi service is ideal for pet owners who do not have a suitable method of transport and need to take their pets to the vets or any other destination. Your pet will be transported safely using crates or a pet carrier, ensuring maximum safety throughout the journey.
You may prefer to keep your car clean and free from pet hair or you may just not have the time to take your pet where it needs to go. You may not drive and taxi drivers can be very reluctant to carry pets in their vehicles.
I will provide a service where I can take your pet to and from the vet, cattery, kennels, groomer or maybe just to a friend's or relative's home.

About Me :
• I studied at Newton Rigg College, for 2 years achieving a national diploma in animal management. Whilst doing my national diploma I was awarded a scholarship from Askham Bryan for my performance and ability to stand out.

• After my first year at college I flew to South Africa for a month. Spending my time working at Khulula Care for Wild which is a rehabilitation centre in the middle of a wildlife reserve. It was an experience of a lifetime as I helped hand raise 3 lion cubs and a baby white rhino as well as looking after many other wild animals on a day to day basis.

• After finishing college I had already gained a lot of experience with a wide range of animals and worked on a volunteer basis at wildlife oasis for several months. I have also completed a pet first aid course and have become a member of the national association of registered pet sitters (NARPS u.k) where I completed a dog walking and pet sitting course.

• I now have many clients with a wide range of different species, i have gained lots of regular dogs and cats and have been lucky enough to get to know them all like the back of my hand. I myslef have a cat, 2 hamsters, 2 rabbits, and a dog of my own.

• I am now open to business full time and I am finally fulfilling my dreams of working with animals.
