Mini Mozart Baby Music Classes

Mini Mozart is a fun and interactive live music class for babies and toddlers.
The classes feature two live instruments, be that a clarinet, violin, flute, trumpet or trombone with a piano accompanist.

In addition to the music we have lots of fun with bubbles, flying a giant parachute, shaking our shakers and all of this is weaved in around a different fairy tale each week:
- Sing Sleeping Bunnies to a snoozing hare in The Hare & The Tortoise
- Wind The Bobbin Up to make The Emperor's New Clothes
- Listen to Mozart or Chopin whilst trying to catch some bubbles in the air
- Shake the parachute to the contrasting movements of Vivaldi's Four Seasons

The idea of Mini Mozart is to get children actually listening, not just hearing. Children interact with live musicians in a way that is impossible with recorded music.

The course has been designed to introduce children to the concepts of pitch, rhythm, dynamics and tempo through fun games and exercises with the emphasis being placed firmly on the FUN!

- Classes for Babies (newborn to approx 15 months)
A sensory musical adventure with the focus on connecting senses to sound

- Classes for Toddlers (15 months to 4 years old)
An interactive music class, the children are encouraged to engage with the musicians and to contribute with words and actions. The children develop musical confidence in this nurturing environment, which is an excellent preparation for nursery and school.
