The Mirfield word is a A5 full colour gloss monthly magazine distributed to 10,000 homes in Mirfield and 500 copies are distributed to businesses, doctors, dentists, cafes and hairdressers every month.

The magazine is full of quality editorial, community events and advertisers promoting their services to the residents of Mirfield.
The magazine is by no stretch your standard books of adverts as I do not feel this captures readers attention. It has competitions in with cash prizes to be spent with advertisers promoting in that month, editorial on the community, business advertorials, interviews with local business owners, recipes, monthly features such as valentine’s day and mother’s day etc.

The advertiser response is fantastic with lots of testimonials from businesses to back this , stating the great response they receive from being in the magazine.
Reader feedback is also excellent and asked for continuously to build on what readers would like to see in the magazine.

Before my ownership of The Mirfield Word, I have a background in advertising and know what a good advert should be.
I am also an experienced copy writer, writing all the editorial and advertorials for the magazine myself – a service which is free of charge to my clients.

I work alongside a professional creative designer who is excellent in his field, he has created adverts in the past that have featured in radio times magazine and Vogue – to give you an example of the kind of work he provides – the artwork service is also free of charge to clients of The Mirfield Word.
