Love 2 Bake - We are "Novelty Specialist Cake Makers" based in PLYMOUTH (UK) - We create edible cake art and can deliver to your venue too.

All of our cakes are baked with fresh ingredients (we always use Free Range Eggs). We never pre-bake or freeze any of our cakes in order to ensure the best possible softness and freshness. We have a special baking routine, which has consistently proven to work for us (ask and we will gladly share our baking routine) - with fresh ingredients being measured accurately every time, we find that all of our cakes are fresh, soft and flavoursome. We use a sponge Madeira Cake Recipe for all of our fondant 3D cakes, which are firm yet light, moist and fluffy in texture with a variation of flavours and extracts. In fact we would say that the quality of the cake is as important as what they look like.

Is every cake completely edible? Yes, we go as far as we can using edible materials to sculpt and build any specific shapes.

Our main modelling and crafting ingredients consist of Massa Ticino Sugar Icing, Professional sugar crafters modelling paste, edible glitter, sugar craft edible glue, Sugarflair Sugarcel, Sugarflair Gum Tragacanth (strengthener) and food colourings but we do use dowels and cocktail sticks for structure support. Our cakes may look good but they taste even better ! By the way - we have a "5* Food Hygiene Rating" by our local Environmental Health Inspector which means that we follow National Standards and Practices in this little venture to make your cake safely and above all to make it taste good.
