The story of The Pumpkin Patch Produce began when, as a small boy, I begged my parents to allow me to turn a small corner of the family garden into my own pumpkin patch. I planted a small number of pumpkins and tended them until they were finally ready to harvest, selling them from my driveway for pocket money. As the first pumpkins grew, so did my passion for growing the novelty fruit. With the help of the rest of the Butler family, (my dedicated planting team) I have recently completed my biggest harvest yet. This has enabled me to supply many local retailers such as farm shops and country stores. Despite the increase in yield, I continue to sell a large selection of pumpkins and squashes from the farm gate, allowing customers to visit and view the large display. 2016 saw our first Pick Your Own event which we plan to continue over several weekends in the 2017 season. Whether it’s a giant pumpkin to frighten the neighbours on Halloween, or something smaller for a warming winter soup, there is a pumpkin for every occasion, so why not order your own perfect pumpkin today.
