WHO ARE WE?

Tails of Oxford, based in the small countryside village of Shipton on Cherwell is a fully insured, professional and caring dog walking service for North and West Oxford and surrounding villages.

WHAT DO WE DO?

At Tails of Oxford we understand how important your dog is to you, which is why we promise to treat your dogs with love and care as if they were our own, offering a very personal and professional service.

We are please to offer 1 and 2 hour dog walks and home visits if needed. We believe that every dog is unique; therefore we aim to tailor our services to suit and fulfil each individual dog and owners needs combined. We will always go the extra mile to ensure that your dog’s needs are met.

Tails of Oxford caters for all dog breeds, from the young and highly-strung; to the golden oldies who just need love and light exercise.

We understand how it can be difficult to give your dog all the attention and exercise he or she needs when leading a busy lifestyle, that’s why we are here to ensure your dog’s needs are met. Whether you want us collect your dog for a fun one hour walk and a break from the lonely house after you have left for work, or if you would prefer your dog to have a private one to one walk - we are here to help!

Our services are flexible and your pets happiness and well being is our main priority; if you have any special requests or requirements please don’t hesitate to ask and we will work with you to ensure your pets needs are met.

OUR SERVICES:

Initial Free Consultation:

For our dog walking services we offer a free initial consultation where we will come to your house or meet you on a walk so that we can all get to know each other and discuss in detail your dogs needs. We will make some general assessments and talk to you about their normal walking habits, whether they socialise well, do they walk well on the lead and how is their recall etc. This will also give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have as we run through the details of our service and complete the relevant paperwork to make sure we have all of your information.

We believe it is important for you to meet us and feel comfortable that your dog is in safe hands. It’s also important for us to understand your dog’s exact needs for them to benefit the most from our services.

Dog Walking:

Whether you are struggling to find the time to exercise your dog, or just want your dog to have some company and fun during the day, we are always happy to assist on a regular or occasional basis.

Dog walking is offered as either a group walk of up to a maximum of four dogs, or a private individual walk where we will walk your dog alone with no other dogs.

To make things extra easy for you, we will come to your home and collect your dog, walk them for 1 hour (walk time starts from the time we begin the walk, not the time we collected your dog) and then return them to you home after their walk feeling refreshed, happy and well exercised. We will also towel dry your dog and make sure they are returned reasonably clean!

We always try to vary our walks as much as possible, to help the physical and mental stimulation of your dog and to give them lots of variety and ensure they meet lots of friends if on a group walk. Our walks will vary from commons to bridleways, canal paths and fields depending on your pick up location.

We cater for dogs of all shapes, sizes and energy levels. Your dog’s requirements will be discussed during the free initial consultation.

DOG WALKING

1 Hour Group Walk - £12.00 per dog
2 Dogs from same household: £20.00 (£10.00 each)
