Our aim at Forest View cottages is to ensure you have the best possible time on your adventure to the New Forest. We all work hard for our holidays and we are here to make sure everything goes smoothly, you make the most of your time and go home with happy memories looking forward to your next visit!

When we started our holiday home business we used an agency to promote and market the cottages. What we found was that no-one knew our cottages as well as we did and therefore we are best placed to answer any queries you might have and ensure our cottages are right for you. This means you get the right answers at every stage and there are no additional charges or ‘service fees’ added to the cost of your holiday.

About us
We love our holidays as this is when we manage to spend quality time together, having fun and building happy memories. It therefore seemed sensible for us to establish Forest View cottages as over the years we believe we have learnt what is needed for a great holiday.
We have travelled the world, but love returning to the beautiful New Forest. We moved to Ashurst in 2000 and have enjoyed exploring the ancient woodlands, local villages and attractions with our 3 boys.
We work in the New Forest and enjoy regularly walking and cycling around the Forest enclosures. Our sons have been brought up close to nature learning about the seasons while hiking through the Forest looking for fungi, climbing trees with friends, building dens and starting their own adventure with the great outdoors.

We established Forest View cottages in 2009 after the whole family fell in love with the idyllic locations and character of our cottages.
The attraction to our was the adventure of the Forest, rope swings, streams and building dens! To us being at our cottages feels like you are away from it all, yet you are only a few minutes’ walk from the village shops. We didn’t think such properties existed in the busy South of England!

We have renovated the cottages with luxury fittings and comforts throughout whilst retaining many character features. Today the cottages are light and airy with amazing views of visiting Forest friends!
