General information

We are a Smart (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques) repair company based in Lisburn N.Ireland - 7 miles south of Belfast. We operate a fleet of specially equipped vans that provide a mobile service to customers though-out the Greater Belfast area and beyond. Operating on site, at your home or place of work we are able to repair scuffed bumpers, scrapes, and scratches; all we need is access to a plug socket. We are always happy to meet and view the job, to talk you through what options are available to you and your beget. We use proper body-shop materials and paints, and finish the job with a two-pack clear-coat (lacquer), just like any good bodyshop would use. That way we get a good quality durable finish to the repair.

As well as damage on vehicle bodywork, we also repair and refurbish alloy wheels. We can repair scuffing or kerb damage as a mobile service. On top of that, more badly affected wheels that are corroded, buckled or even cracked, can be repaired at our workshop in Lisburn. Corroded wheels are blasted and striped back to bare metal before being refinished. Cracks have to be ground out and cleaned before being welded, inside and out. Buckled wheels are straightened by pressing them back into shape using our specialised machine. Wheels can then be refinished in any colour you require; Black and Gunmetal are popular, but we have done some bright pink and we are here to meet your tastes. Whenever possible we use a very durable two-pack industrial paint on wheels, as it is tougher and better suited to the harsh environment wheels are subjected too. However, if you want to go to the next level, and get your wheels powder-coated, we can do that for you also.

Established in 2002 as Colorworks, our roots stem from a Canadian business model, hence the spelling of colour. In 2004, Colorworks Corporate, withdrew their interest in the UK market for personal reasons and we rebranded ourselves as Colortec deciding to keep the Canadian spelling.
