ABOUT KATE
After a successful career in advertising Kate realised a life-long ambition and trained as an acupuncturist. Kate’s professional, perceptive and down to earth approach ensures that each patient gets the individual treatment and support they need.
She is a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and as such adheres to their standards of care and codes of conduct.

THE TREATMENT
Daily stresses, emotional upsets, lifestyle choices and injury upset our natural balance and lead to physical and emotional symptoms. By identifying the root cause of the symptoms Kate uses fine needles to activate specific energy points on the body to help bring both body and mind back to health.

Common complaints successfully treated include: Digestive disorders (IBS, indigestion, bloating, weight management), menstrual disorders, infertility (including IVF support), muscular-skeletal pain (back pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder etc), headaches, insomnia, chronic fatigue and emotional issues (such as stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders).

THE BENEFITS
Acupuncture is now widely used in the NHS and there is much research into the benefits of treatment (see www.acupuncture.org.uk). Treatment focuses on alleviating the main complaint but because it is an 'holistic' approach not only does the original complaint improve but patients also report sleeping better, needing less coffee, feeling more energised and having an overall improved sense of wellbeing. It is an excellent way of getting well and staying well.
