Why the Freed Man? Because I am no longer under the yoke of Shepherd Neame and their insidious 100% wet tie.
After running a tied house for 3 1/2 years I have a pretty good idea of what people want. By opening a micro pub I have the opportunity to source quality and value across a huge range of ales, lagers and wines. Put all that in a comfortable pub add like minded people and stir gently and you get the Freed Man.
It's all about the people folks.
