General information

I teach all types of guitar, mandolin and ukulele to advanced levels. I've been playing guitar since the age of 9 and for 28 years.

I am passionate about teaching where the responsibility for your learning lies with methods provided by the tutor. This still means plenty of practice is necessary! My structured lessons incorporate all musical styles, special techniques such a slide playing and flamenco. I include music theory and sight reading from a guitarist's point of view (this will still be fun!).

Additionally, with Christian's advanced guitar techniques on the classical guitar and his huge repertoire of original avant-garde compositions and well known masterpieces, he is the first choice for background live classical guitar entertainment at your wedding, restaurant or other function.

As well as Bach and the like, this is innovative use of a classical guitar, playing avant-garde original sounds and modern well known songs. Add to this Christian's repertoire of Spanish, Jazz, and Folk pieces and you have a lovely mix of live background guitar that pleases all.
