Salena found that acupuncture had a profound effect upon her own health and well-being and went on to train at the International College of Oriental Medicine (BSc hons Ac, Lic Ac) She practises classical acupuncture including five element and stems and branches. Salena is also an ITEC qualified massage therapist and may use massage within a treatment.

It's acknowledged by NICE for the particular treatment of low back pain, headache and migraine and is used for a variety of physical and emotional conditions. The holistic nature of acupuncture means that treatment is aimed at the root of a condition as well as the symptoms. People often find the treatment itself is very relaxing .
