Spray tan before & after care advice

Before your spray tan appointment
• Moisturize
• Exfoliate
• Hair removal

3 days before- in the days leading up to your spray tan appointment it is essential you moisturize your skin 2-3 days prior do not leave it to the day before as it can react to the spray tan solution the next day if any trace of it is still on your skin.

24 hours before- it is essential you exfoliate your skin & hair removal to optimize the life of your spray tan.

On the day of your tan- NO moisturizer should be applied on your skin on the day of your spray tan appointment as moisturizer does act as a barrier on the skin making your tan streaky or patchy.

On the day of your tan- NO deodorant should be applied on your skin on the day of your spray tan as the spray tan solution will react to the deodorant on your skin making it appear green under your arms until the guide color has been removed.

On the day of your tan- NO make- up should be applied on your skin as make- up is oil based which will react as a barrier and will not allow the spray tan solution to penetrate through to the skin making that area appear streaky or patchy tan.

On the day of your tan- NO perfume should be put on skin as perfume contain oils which will act as a barrier on the skin and prevent the spray tan solution from penetrating through on to the skin which will result in a streaky or patchy tan so remember clean dry clear skin on the day..

After care advice

Prolong your tan for 7-10 days follow this advice,
It is not recommended to bathe, shower, swim, use saunas, or do excessive exercise for a minimum of 8 hours after your spray tan treatment this is to allow your spray tan to develop into a streak free tan.
Do not touch your skin throughout the developing time process especially your hands and fingers rubbing up and down your legs and arms when getting dressed.
Pat dry your skin after showering/bathing the spray tan will last longer and not break down.
Use oil free products on the your skin to prevent the tan breaking down which will look patchy or un even.
Take Luke warm showers/baths.
Moisturize after the spray tan has fully developed after 8 hours it is essential to prevent your skin breaking down which could make it look patchy moisturize once a day to prolong your tan.
Do not exfoliate until your spray tan is dull fading coming off then you exfoliate and rub dry your skin.
