Hi, my name is Rob and with my wife, Liz, we offer a friendly & professional service for your dog. We offer your dog a home from home service whether it is walks morning,lunchtime and/or evening, or looking after them while you are at work or away on holiday. It maybe a last minute decision if you are unfortunately taken ill or hospitalised , we can keep your dogs daily routine going without too much disruption. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. General.
1.1 Clients are required to complete a booking form giving details of their vet and any other relevant details relating to their pet/s.
1.2 Information given in the initial registration form will be used for all subsequent bookings unless we are notified that there has been any change in your pet's condition or requirements.
1.3 If we are required to make any extra trips following the initial free meet and greet in order to collect any keys to the premises, this will incur an additional charge of £5.
2. Your pet/s.
2.1 We reserve the right to refuse bookings if your pet/s display any form of aggression or antisocial behaviour during the initial meet and greet.
2.2 The Heath Dog Haven will not be liable for any injury, disappearance or death of your pet/s with access to the outdoors.
2.3 We ask that you purchase extra supplies for your pet/s to ensure we do not run out while in our care. Any expenses incurred by The Heath Dog Haven for feed or other essential supplies such as medications will be added to your invoice and will incur an additional shopping charge of £5.
2.4 If your pet/s requires medication, The Heath Dog Haven must be fully informed of and equipped to cater to their needs.
2.5 All owners must ensure that their pet/s is in good health. All pet/s must have current vaccinations and up to date flea and worm treatments.
2.6 If you book us for our dog walking service please note that we will not allow dogs off the lead. All dogs must wear a correctly fitted collar with identity tag.
2.7 We are unable to walk bitches that are in season, ill dogs or dogs known to have an infection, even on a one to one basis due to the risk of cross infection.
2.8 If it becomes necessary, your pet/s will be taken to a veterinary surgery. You are responsible for any fees that are incurred during your absence or during the course of the assignment, due to this you should provide us with an emergency contact number, should you not be contactable we will act in the best interests of the animal as advised by the veterinary surgeon. Any trips to a veterinary surgery will be subject to an additional taxi charge of £10.
3. Damage and injury.
3.1 We will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by your pet/s unless we can be shown to be negligent.
3.2 We will not be held liable for any theft or damage to your property unless we can be shown to be negligent.
3.3 Should we be bitten, injured or otherwise exposed to any disease received from your pets/s that have not been properly vaccinated it will be your responsibility to cover all costs and damages incurred by the victim.
4. Booking and cancellation.
4.1 We will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk due to extreme weather conditions e.g. Heat, storms, snow etc for the safety of both your pet/s and ourselves.
4.2 We will require a deposit of 20% to be paid at the time of booking (During the Christmas and Easter holidays we will require a 50% deposit to be paid)
4.3 Cancellations with less than 7 days' notice will result in your deposit not being returned. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel, your deposit will be returned in full.
5. Payment and privacy.
5.1 Accepted payment methods are: Direct deposit, cash or cheque payable on or before the first service visit.
5.2 Bank holidays, Christmas day, Boxing Day, Easter Sunday and New Year's Day will be charged at twice the standard daily rate.
5.3 If the charges are not paid within 7 days of invoice we reserve the right to stop the service and to charge an administration fee of £1 per day until the unpaid charges have been settled.
5.4 The Heath Dog Haven will treat your personal information confidentially and will not pass on your details to any third parties.
