General information

Martial Arts & Zen are two things in my life which I am extremely passionate about, so I created this page as a way for me to express them. By adding information and interviews from my past I truly hope to reach out to those who would like to learn more about me, my school of Jujitsu and my practice of Zen.

“The foundation of our practice is not to harm others or ourselves and to help benefit others as much as we can. For that purpose I shave my head and wear robes, which is the easy way to practice Buddhism.” The hardest part is to reach out and support the people associated with the gym in the spirit of the Buddha, no matter what I am wearing. Understanding the, sometimes, harsh realities of unconditional love is the true challenge of being ordained.

The ability to give the whole of one’s life to realising Enlightenment, to widening one’s heart, and to serving the Dharma is a rare and auspicious opportunity and I embrace it, knowing that I will sometimes stumble but will always continue forward.

My aim is to blog each week and keep you all up to date with whats happening in my life and future ventures and ideas both from my Jujitsu life and Zen. I truly appreciate all of your love and support.
