Stirling Drum Tuition

General information

One-to-one lessons are our main focus at Stirling Drum Tuition. We work with a wide range of drummers, all with different aims and ambitions. Lessons are tailored to the wants and needs of each individual regardless of age or ability whilst incorporating a structured approach to developing and progressing behind the kit. Since 2011 we have worked along side
leading educational institutions RSL Rockschool and Trinity College London and proudly maintain a 100% pass rate for all students taking music exams grade 1-8.

Our state of the art teaching room includes a wide range of acoustic drums and hand made cymbals, electronic drum kits, practice pads and recording facilities that help provide each student with a stimulating and comfortable learning environment. Our studio also features free parking, WIFI and a comfortable waiting area where you can enjoy a hot or cold beverage.

Lead tutor Samuel Waller has many years of teaching experience, both in one-to-one kit tuition and as a workshop leader with various organisations including Live Music Now, Stirling Council and Aberdeen International Youth Festival.

As a drummer, Sam has worked on numerous projects with a variety of artists including Louise Connell, Brownbear & Miniature Dinosaurs. Highlights include working with record labels Electric Honey (Biffy Clyro, Snow Patrol, Belle & Sebastian) and Integrity Records (Frank Turner) as well as being featured on MTV, BBC Radio 1 and a European arena tour (supporting The Libertines). He has performed at events and venues including Hyde Park, T in The Park, Stirling Castle and The Barrowlands Ballroom.
