Theatre 282

General information

Theatre 282 is an amateur theatre group that has been delighting audiences in Blakedown and the surrounding area for over 40 years. We're a friendly group with members drawn from all walks of life, age groups and talents.

We put on a variety of productions ranging from our annual Panto, through comedy and farce all the way through to thrillers and emotional thought provoking dramas.

Whether you're interested in acting, back stage, technical, set design/construction, administration, front of house, producing or directing, why not get in touch or come along to one of our productions or rehearsal evenings. Our main rehearsal nights are Sundays and Wednesdays in advance of productions in March, June and December.

We also have an active youth group where we try to get the youth involved on and off stage and often put on specific youth productions or entries in theatre festivals.
