General information

Open all year round, we are a quiet rural dog friendly & family site located 20 minutes south of York.

We offer both large hard standings for caravans, motorhomes & campervans and very large grass pitches for tents & trailer tents with perimeter hedges for privacy. (Grass pitches for caravans are also available).

Our site is perfect for those seeking a peaceful & relaxing break within an immaculately clean & well maintained environment boasting pristine shower/wc facilities with the added bonus of having easy access to York and surrounding areas.

Positioned in open countryside, we are 3/4 mile outside Cawood village which offers 3 dog friendly public houses (2 serving food), traditional village shop with post office/deli counter & garden centre with cafe. Supermarkets are a 5 minute car journey away.

We also have good motorway links with the A1, M62 & A19.

Our 1.5 acre Rally field at the back of the site is available for children to play & a dog walking area.

TARIFFS: Caravans, Tents, Motorhomes, Campervans, Trailer Tents & RV’s.
We have one set price for up to 2 adults/3 children all year round and do not inflate our prices for school holidays, bank holidays, Christmas/New Year etc.

Electric is metered (you only pay for what you use)
Dogs - no charge (max 3 unless agreed in advance)
Awnings / Gazebos - no charge. Groundsheets must be breathable.
Showers – no charge
Second car – no charge (subject to agreement, limited availability)
Large tents – no extra charge

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES:
Arrival from 12.30pm onwards & Departure by 11.30am (unless otherwise agreed). Please kindly advise us if you are due to arrive after 8pm.

PLEASE NOTE: we are a quiet site and ask all guests to be respectful to their neighbours. We kindly ask after 10.00pm to keep any noise to a minimum so not to disturb others.
This is part of our site rules to allow everyone to enjoy their holidays in a peaceful & relaxing environment. Of course this doesn't suit everyone so please make sure you are happy with our quiet site policy before booking.
