General information

Hi - and welcome to the Ciren Web Design Facebook Page!

I used to live and work in Cirencester, (hence the name), but due to family events I am now based in Tewkesbury.

Potted History:
i started producing web sites in 1997 - I had been working in the print industry doing mainly artwork and some design, but as soon as the web came along in a big way, I knew I’d found what I was put on earth to do. I locked myself in a darkened room and taught myself the then very basic, HTML. I already had lots of experience of working with photos and graphics in print, so although the web requirements were different, I already had the basic skill set. I started to pick up private clients and went fully self employed. I attracted more and more private clients, but also did work for big posh London agencies working on high profile clients’ sites - for instance once I did a lot of work on part of the Tate’s website, DuPont’s etc., etc.

Unfortunately this prosperous little enterprise was interrupted when my Mother suffered heart failure, Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia. I had to give up work and care for her until she sadly died in 2014.

I then found a perfect little house in Tewkesbury from where to start up again, but the difference this time is that I will not be doing agency work or travelling up to London or anything like that - I am only really interested in local firms with whom I can forge long term relationships.

I can create a website for you from scratch, including taking photos, formulating basic strategy etc. - and do so very quickly. If you’re interested, please give me a call.

Meanwhile i’ll use this page to post any photos, videos or anything else that I do or come across, as well as any other web related stuff that I hope might interest you.
