Welcome to Calwich under Canvas, home to 4 traditional yurts, resting on a carefully planned private site on the edge of the peak district.

Providing a stunning luxury glamping experience, our yurts allow couples, families and friends to get back to nature without stepping too far out of luxury. On a quiet, idyllic site where you can enjoy a tranquil and relaxing break away from everyday busy life.

Each yurt is raised on their own decking area with outdoor seating. They have no electricity supply direct to the yurt so torches/candles/lanterns are available. Our yurt’s each boast their own log burner providing a warming focal point, complimenting those warm and cosy evenings under the canvas.
**We provide a complimentary basket of logs on arrival, further fuel supplies can be purchased from Reception.

Our stunningly decorated washrooms provide individual heated showers, the luxury of flushing toilets complete with under floor heating. Completing our washroom we provide hairdryers and straighters to save you packing them on your stay. All located just a few metres away from each of the yurts.

The kitchen hut is a large spacious communal area with two large 8 ring hob ovens, 2 x microwaves, kettles, a sink and a fridge/freezer. It has ample storage with all crockery, pots & pans, cutlery and utensils you would require to cater for any size group large or small. There are also BBQ’s available for anyone wishing to use them.

Situated on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border near the towns of Ashbourne and Uttoxeter, there is so much to do during your stay, visit our What’s On page for more information. Ashbourne is approximately 10 minutes by car for any last minute supplies you may need.
