General information

Globe Computing Ltd is primarily a computer software retailer, as well selling a few bits of hardware and some other random bits and pieces.

Where we differ from the larger computer software retailers is that we generally sell our products at well below retail and for that matter below prices of the likes of Amazon and eBuyer, we can afford to do this by buying up bankrupt stock, as well as getting great deals on end of line products, we deal direct with consultants who dump job-lots of stock and have friends through the IT industry whom we purchase old unwanted software from.

We specialise in niche and legacy software, new and used, some of the items we sell can be extremely hard to get hold of as they are fairly rare and not used often, however we know that people do on occasion need such software and that is where we try and fill the gap, for example there are plenty of our customers who require the likes of Windows 2003 or Office 2003 for one reason or another but finding a genuine version online is near impossible (eBay is full of fakes we must advise buyers to be extremely cautious when selecting anyone to deal in software with on eBay due the high level counterfeiting, the fakes are hard to spot these days).

We have recently started selling newer software as well ie windows 8.1, Adobe Cloud, although the margins are smaller we fealt it made sense to be able to offer our clients everything in one place so you can use us for all you software needs, most recently we have started selling Adobe download and cloud software which you can find on our website.
