General information

COSTA delivers the Rural Community Development Support Service (RCDSS) in the Dungannon & South Tyrone area (sub-contracted under CWSAN).

The Rural Community Development Support Service (RCDSS) is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Environment & Rural Affairs (DAERA) - Tackling Rural Poverty & Social Isolation Programme (TRPSI).

COSTA assists local community groups through a wide range of support services including: training, facilitation, access, information, brokerage, consultation and assistance tailored to individual group needs.

Aims under the RCDSS (1 April 2016 - 31 March 2017) are:

* Supporting Access to the NI Rural Development Programme
* Assisting Development of the Rural & Social Economy
* Supporting Access to the Tackling Rural Poverty & Social Isolation Programme
* Developing Capacity & Leadership
