General information

We are a friendly flying club offering training for the EASA PPL and LAPL. In addition we also offer further training for licence holders including night rating, aerobatic training and IR(R).

For those who want to 'have a go' at flying we offer a number of trial lesson options. Chose from a circuit (15-20 mins), 30 mins, 45 mins or an hour. We have both 2 seater and 4 seater aircraft for people who want to bring a passenger or just fancy a bit more space! All trial lessons count towards a licence.

We are also able to offer aerobatic trial lessons for those who want to experience the thrill of aerobatics! These are either 30 min or 60 min sessions.

GETTING HERE

ARRIVING BY BUS
538 / 539 from Coventry Rail Station or Pool Meadow.

ARRIVING BY TRAIN
Coventry Rail Station. Taxis are available from here to the Flying Club.

ARRIVING BY AIR
On landing inform ATC that you are visiting Almat Aviation. You will be directed to the West Apron. Make your way to the General Aviation Terminal Look for the large 'C' at the extreme left of the building.

FROM THE NORTH WEST
From the M6, leave at junction 2 and follow signs for A46 Coventry & Leamington, Continue on the A46 until you reach the roundabout with the A45 (Toll Bar). Take the second exit, immediately there is a mini island, take the second exit, signposted airport North & West (Rowley Road) to the end of Rowley Road, left through the village of Baginton. The West entrance is just after the Oak public house, turn left, past the security barrier, straight ahead and we are in Anson House at the end of the building directly in front of you as you come through the barrier.

FROM THE NORTH EAST
From the M1, leave at junction 21 and follow the M69, this road turns into the A46, continue on this until you reach the roundabout with the A45 (Toll Bar). Take the second exit, immediately there is a mini island, take the second exit, signposted airport North & West (Rowley Road) to the end of Rowley Road, left through the village of Baginton. The West entrance is just after the Oak public house, turn left, past the security barrier, we are in Anson House at the end of the building directly in front of you as you come through the barrier.

FROM THE SOUTH WEST
From the M5 leave at junction 9 and follow the signs for A46 Evesham, continue A46 past Stratford-upon-Avon, at the flyover with the M40 continue on A46, at the junction with the A45 turn right and follow signs for Rugby until you reach the roundabout with the A45 (Toll Bar). Take the second exit, immediately there is a mini island, take the second exit, signposted airport North & West (Rowley Road) to the end of Rowley Road, left through the village of Baginton. The West entrance is just after the Oak public house, turn left, past the security barrier, we are in Anson House at the end of the building directly in front of you as you come through the barrier.

FROM THE SOUTH EAST
From the M40 leave at junction 15, follow the A46 towards Coventry. At the junction with the A45 turn right and follow signs for Rugby until you reach the next roundabout with the A45 (Toll Bar). Take the second exit, immediately there is a mini island, take the second exit, signposted airport North & West (Rowley Road) to the end of Rowley Road, left through the village of Baginton. FROM THE SOUTH
