General information
There has been a church dedicated to St Andrew in this Parish since the 12th Century, and there is a list of the rectors to date on the North wall.The West window has been re-set and there are some of it's memorials can be seen in the West end and Sanctuary
In the 1920's a new rectory was built on farmland, and in the middle of the Parish, and the Diocese of Portsmouth agreed that a new church could be built.The foundation stone was laid in 1930, and the inscription read 'To the greater glory of God, the Diocese of Portsmouth built me', and the consecration of the church took place on October 11th 1930.
