General information

The Junction is a family friendly pub situated at the bottom of the Horse Shoe bridge.

We offer 8 real ales. As we are part of GreeneKing's Local Hero project, those do include numerous local ales (Which are always changing, so you will always have a new ale to try) Those local brewery's include Red Cat, Flowerpots, Longdog, Yeovil and many, many more.

We have a brand new menu! Pub favourites such as Scampi, Fish 'n' Chips, Mac 'n' Cheese and burgers are available. We also offer classic meals such as Bangers and mash, beef 'n' ale pies and lasagna. If you fancy a meal with a little more obscurity then we have Spicy Jerk Chicken, Calamari as well as Mussel's on offer. We have a children's menu for the little ones (or people with smaller stomachs, we don't judge) as well as a lunch deal Monday-Friday. Pop in to find out more information. Food is cooked to order.

As we are just a 2 minute walk from St Denys train station, and a further 15-20 minute walk from St Marys football stadium (via the Board Walk), we are a perfect pit stop for avid saints fans! We serve food (although reduced from our normal menu so food gets to you faster) ales, and a great pre-match atmosphere! Away fans have been, and remain to be, welcome to join us before and after games.

Our beer garden is massive! Not only do we have a heated smoking shelter (perfect for the winter) but plenty of tables that in the summer are in perfect position to catch some rays.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in all areas of the pub. We do prefer if your dog is kept on a lead inside.

~ About the Pub itself ~

The Junction Inn originally opened during the 1860's, under the name of The Wareham Arms. By 1878 it was renamed the Junction Inn, and remains to be a community asset all these years later. It is a Grade II listed building, and has the Asset of Community Value protection, essentially preventing the pub from being converted.
