Bordelle is a niche and unusual concept in womens' lingerie and bodywear that combines true craftsmanship with groundbreaking designs that toy with themes of seduction and domination. The Bordelle aesthetic is characterised by body-con silhouettes and rooted in a proprietary technique that blends customised satin elastic bands with an array of fabrics to create iconic pieces featuring a ‘luxury S&M’ sensuality. In the three years since the label first launched its first bodywear collection at Selfridges – London where couture girdles sold out within 24 hours of arriving on the shop floor, Bordelle’s range has expanded to include leather accessories, a signature line that is individually handcrafted in the label’s West London studio, a bridal collection for the unconventional bride, an interactive online atelier that ships internationally and can produce individual orders upon request, and most recently, the addition of Made to Measure and Ultimate Bespoke services. Bordelle is currently available in 20 countries around the world, with key accounts at Selfridges, Lane Crawford, Tsum and Luisaviaroma to name but a few.

The Family

United in vision and driven to break the boundaries of design and construction convention, the Bordelle team, headed by founder Alexandra Popa conceptualise, design and handcraft iconic pieces from within the buzzing hub of their atelier. Our collections are predominantly atelier made, with a selection of styles being produced with one of the UK’s most established lingerie manufacturers.
