Welcome to Run the Wild! The UK’s first premier running adventure holiday company. Everyone at Run the Wild is passionate about running and adventures. We love racing but what we really love is running. Running off into the unknown, the path flowing underneath your feet, snow capped mountains glinting in the sun, clouds melting away in the valleys far below. Setting your heart and mind free... This is what it feels like to be alive!

We want you to have an amazing time running and exploring some of the most spectacular trails in the UK and Europe. This is achieved by a professionally led running team, comprised of experienced lead runners, planned routes, full logistical support for you and your kit, as well as food and accommodation. You’ll be part of a small group of runners of similar ability to share the experience with. Your enjoyment and safety is our priority so you can be assured that you are in good hands. Run the Wild was started in 2013, born out of the self-sufficient running and climbing adventures that its founder, Simon James pursues in his spare time. All of us at Run the Wild are passionate about running; we often even get quite emotional about it! The company was founded to bring this experience of running trails in the wild; free of the usual race and logistical burdens, to you. We love exploring places, not just running races. We love meeting people and having an adventure together. We like races too, but this is where our heart really lies and if we can help you have more fun running trails; whether to see the sun rise over Mt Blanc as you climb up over a mountain pass, or indeed to check out a future race route then we will be happy!
