Vita Bella Pilates are Pilates classes taught by London-based teacher Susanna Giustiniani.
She is based in South London and teaches regular group classes in Battersea, Camberwell, Kennington and Balham as well as private 1:2:1 classes.
About Susanna:
Susanna is a Body Control® Pilates Certified Teacher with Level 3 REPs certification, and an A-Level in Human Biology. She attained the national UK standard governing the teaching of Pilates as endorsed by SkillsActive, The Register of Exercise Professionals and recognized by the European Health and Fitness Association. She has valid insurance and CPR certification. Susanna is also trained in Pregnancy & Postnatal Pilates with Body Control Pilates®. She also specialises in Pilates for Performers.
About Pilates:
Pilates is based on the work of Joseph Pilates (1880 – 1967) who created a series of exercises that balanced the building of strength with the increase of flexibility. He was influenced by yoga and ballet, and also developed his method to rehabilitate the body after injury.
Pilates targets the deep postural muscles building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It is slow and controlled which results in much longer-term results.
Perfect for everyone from first-time exercisers, to dancers and athletes. It is especially recommended for those with back problems, it is also excellent during and after pregnancy.
