Approach:

As a result of close collaboration between client, architect, consultants and contractor, each finished scheme is totally unique and individually tailored to meet our client's original vision. We have developed long-term relationships with many of our clients by first understanding their needs and operations and then by looking beyond the ordinary to produce architecture and interiors that not only meet our clients' needs and brief but also exceed their expectations. We listen to our clients rather than imposing a style or fixed approach upon them. Our aim is to produce buildings that our clients can enjoy and be inspired by as well as live or work in comfortably.

Process:

With every new project we will take on board each client's aims, visions and concerns and translate these into initial design scheme options for discussion and feedback. Once the outline scheme is agreed, we develop the proposals further with the aid of three-dimensional drawings for client agreement/comments through to an agreed detailed construction scheme that can be tendered and built at the right price by a trusted contractor – there are a number that we regularly work with.

Our team has extensive experience in all levels of building delivery and we are currently working on projects ranging from £300K to £18M.
We are conscious of our responsibilities towards the community and of the power of architecture to change people’s lives, through the design of evocative and inspiring places and buildings.
We provide unique design solutions which relate intrinsically to their context and location. Throughout the design process, we test and debate possible approaches to ensure our designs are conceptually solid and provide a lifetime of value.
A good understanding of design typologies and extensive technical knowledge allow us to develop creative, energy efficient and sustainable solutions.

We have designed and delivered projects through different procurement routes, from Traditional Contracts, to Contract Management (CM) and Design & Build.
The build-ability and delivery of our designs is our priority from early concept stages, to ensure practical and cost-effective solutions.
In order to control the end output, we run design and technical reviews in house to ensure all issued information has been coherently designed, properly co-ordinated and thoroughly checked. This is particularly key when working to a fast track programmes and large projects.

We also believe that community consultation is paramount to the success of medium sized and major developments. Our team is familiar with DQI and other participation methodologies.
