Macai was founded by Pete Hawes in 1989 with the Macai name
Coming from Mid Anglia Construction and Interiors. Macai cut its Teeth in the interior sectors as a general contractor and was soon Recongnised as a solid and dependable company with good client Base and sound reputation. The second generation Nigel Hawes Is now leading the company and with Bob McDermott and an Energetic structure in place we’re ready to meet the next phase Of growth. We are now a London Based company, where we undertake many complex and challenging projects for blue chip clients. Our newly acquired London Office in SE1 puts us in the center of construction activity in London. We are financially stable, in really good shape ready to meet the challenges of the 2000’s. Current turnover 10m/p.a.
We operate in two sectors, the interiors and finishing trades as Macai Limited and the Builderswork and Structural alterations Packages as Macai Projects.
