Carney's Community

General information

Carney’s Community aims to reduce offending, re-offending and anti-social behaviour, whilst improving social mobility and community cohesion. We achieve this by engaging a range of young people, in positive and constructive activities. These young people are from a variety of backgrounds, with a focus on the disadvantaged and excluded. We believe that by empowering young people through mentoring, participation, focusing on their strengths and learning from each other, we can improve not only their opportunities, but also those of their local communities.
