General information
Our club was formed in 1969 by Mr Alan Ferrary and has been established for over 4 decades.
When we started we had a mat space of 12x18 feet... now its 200 square metres and we have the luxury of BJA qualified Instructors
V & E Judokwai is proud to have nurtured and coached countless judo players, many of who have competed for the country at national level. In our clubs history, there have been many improvements to the facility, overseen by the Club chairman and head sense Steve Hill.
Our Dojo
- Our Tatami (Judomats) are suspended on a state-of-the-art purpose built sprung substrate.
- We have separate male and female changing facilities, toilets and showers.
- Seating for Parents / Spectators
- First aid facilities
- Club shop where we sell Gi's, judo belts and soft drinks.
- Dedicated parking area
- Gas fired industrial heating for those cold winter evenings.
- Have fun learning and practising judo in our Dojo.
