General information

Truck Technics started trading in 2007 as a joint venture between Ken Tyrala and Metcalfe Farms. The aim was to reduce repair costs to the Metcalfe fleet initially by being onsite at Leyburn and to build the business from there. It started with Ken working out of the back of his van and has grown year on year to the present day where we now have nearly 30 people on our strong team.
We have built the business up to be a one stop shop keeping as much inhouse as possible to reduce customer costs. You can bring your vehicle to us for servicing , repairs , diagnostics,used scania parts, mot testing, engineering , hydraulics , bodybuilding , bodywork , shotblasting and spray painting. We also have a hire fleet of trucks and can offer bespoke packages to suit.
Running along side the commercial repair business is our thriving car workshop. Again another side of the business that has gone from strength to strength and our skilled team can carry out repairs and servicing to all makes. We have a class 7 mot bay and can also cater for large class 4 vehicles such as motorhomes.
We have the latest diagnostic equipment for car and commercial and this is an area we pride ourselves in.
We welcome all customers and vehicles or just pop in for a cup of tea and a tour round the site!
