General information

Emma Gushlow and Katrina Cole, the duo behind the eponymous brand, launched their début collection in 2003.

The London-born designers are known for creating luxury shearling outerwear and accessories, made entirely in the UK.

From a childhood friendship, which began when they were both four years old, the designers have built a creative partnership together since graduating from London College of Fashion. They each gained a wealth of experience in shearling manufacture at the highly respected Cole family business and eventually established the Gushlow & Cole brand with a small accessories range.

From humble beginnings at East London’s Spitalfields Market, demand swiftly led them to launch a luxury accessory collection at London Fashion Week and in 2004 Gushlow & Cole showed a full ready-to-wear collection during Paris Fashion Week, further establishing the brand with international buyers.
Selecting only the finest materials, Gushlow & Cole place emphasis on fit, high quality construction and understated detailing using their unsurpassed knowledge of sheepskin.
The label have produced a shearling garment and accessory collection each year since Winter 2004 with growing success and with every piece being hand-made in England by skilled craftsmen and women.
The designers have introduced hand-knitted accessories for AW13 as they continue to develop and expand their range.
2013 also sees the opening of the first Gushlow & Cole store and an exciting collaboration with the oldest and most prestigious hat shop in the world, James Lock & Co, makers of head wear for HRH the Duke of Edinburgh and HRH the Prince of Wales.
Gushlow & Cole counts Angelina Jolie amongst it's celebrity clientèle and enjoys a growing reputation with renowned stockists worldwide.
