Mortgage Pathways was established in 2010, but our heritage goes back to 2002 when our mortgage advisers worked exclusively out of estate agents around the North East.

Today we not only have a mortgage advice arm in a number of estate agents in the North East, but we also have a dedicated New Build Team

At Mortgage Pathways we specialise in finding absolutely the right mortgage for our clients. We simplify the complicated, so that mortgages become easy to understand and we use our knowledge of the lenders to greatly increase the chances of your mortgage going through.

Our number one role is to really understand your priorities and what your goals are for owning your own home. It might be how you can pay your mortgage off early, minimise the interest you will pay, or reduce your payments on a monthly basis.

First-time buyers

We specialise in helping first-time buyers to take those first steps onto the housing ladder. There are a number of government schemes available that we can help you to take advantage of. In some cases we can help you to buy your first house with less than a 5% deposit.

New Build

We also specialise in arranging mortgages on newly built houses and work closely with developers to ensure that if you are dreaming of a brand new house, we can help turn your dreams into reality.

Remortgage and capital raising

Of course, if you are already on the housing ladder there are a number of options open to you. We can help you to save money and pay your mortgage off quicker, or help you to release capital if you need funds to extend or improve your home.

Buy-to-let

If you are an existing or potential landlord, we will help you get the right mortgage for your investment needs, including an interest-only mortgage if that is right for you.
