We run four Recreational Gymnastic Classes in a fantastic brand new facility at Gosforth Central Middle School, which was chosen due to its prime location and its quality of facility and standard of security and we also run other Gymnastic classes throughout the North East.
Boys and Girls welcome to all our classes.

Classes run Term-Time only.

These are Gymnastic Clubs open to children within the local community interested in Recreational Gymnastics in a safe and non-competitive environment and also having fun. We offer weekly sessions, term-time only.

The Classes are run by Jeff and Hazel Cooper. Who are both qualified British Gymnastic Coaches? And are both CRB Cleared, First Aid trained and have attended Child Protection workshops.

We have many years experience of working within the sport, and have worked in over 100 schools, throughout the Newcastle and North Tyneside Area.

Our prime aim is to enable all the members of our clubs to fulfil their potential, whilst making Gymnastics an enjoyable experience. The skills learnt will help them in all other sports which they can use for the rest of their lives.

We work for ourselves and have strong links with the Local Authority, and School Sports Partnership.

All the FUNdamental movement skills are covered in our classes: - Running, Jumping, Skipping, Turning, Balance, Co-ordination, Speed, and Agility, catching and throwing. These all improve strength, flexibility concentration and self-confidence.

Gymnastics helps to increase energy levels, helping to tone the body and reduce the rising levels of childhood obesity, while having lots of fun.

The children will also learn a variety of generic skills and basic Gymnastic elements/sequences such as:-
Floor work: - Forward roll, backward roll, Headstands, Handstands, and Walkovers & Cartwheels
Jumps: - Straight, Star; Straddle, ¼ & ½ turn
Basic Vaulting: - Squat on/through to Straddle.
Beam: - Basic Beam work, Balances, Jumps, leaps.
Bar/Rope work: - Depending on equipment available.

Our Gymnastics is a complete form of exercise, in a safe and non-completive environment, based on fun.
