The network of publically available electric vehicle charge points in Scotland is to be known by a new name – ChargePlace Scotland.
New features of the ChargePlace Scotland network will include:
•A full 24 hour 365 day a year customer helpline with a new dedicated Charge Place Scotland phone number
•An enhanced fault management system with a dedicated ChargePlace Scotland network manager based in Scotland
•A new dedicated Charge Place Scotland website including enhanced user and host access
•Dedicated ChargePlace Scotland Twitter and Facebook accounts
Following a public procurement process, Charge Your Car ltd have been appointed as charge point network operator and will operate the ChargePlace Scotland network on behalf of Scottish Ministers
Drivers and hosts will be contacted shortly with further information regarding the launch of ChargePlace Scotland. In the meantime, your Charge Your Car card and smartphone app will continue to work on all of the Charge Your Car operated charge points in Scotland.
