Michael and Joyce would like to welcome you to the York North Kip McGrath Education Centre based in Clifton retail and Business Park.

Our aim is to help your child realise their full potential in mathematics, English, reading, spelling and writing.

Our qualified teachers offer professional tutoring in English and Maths from Year 1 (Primary) to GCSE to students who need extra help with English and Maths. We also offer support for children who are working towards SATs. We share yours and your child’s delight when they successfully catch up to age related expectations.

Lessons run for 80 minutes and include one to one tuition and exercises using written and exclusive online Kip McGrath resources which make learning fun and stimulating for our students. Parents can shop while their children learn!

Michael and Joyce Whincup (center directors) are fully qualified teachers that have over 40 years teaching experience between them.

Our initial FREE assessment can take up to 45 minutes and will highlight any areas of weakness or gaps in learning. There is no obligation but, if you would like to commence tuition, our teachers will create a unique lesson plan for your child to ensure that we focus on their individual needs and develop the skills they need to catch up quickly.
