JR Motor Services, York is a compact, friendly garage with a family feel to offer a customer focused environment to local businesses and residents of the York area.
The title JR Motor Services is the trading name of Central Body Repairs (York) Ltd originally situated in the Acomb area of York. A business established in 1976 by the father of the current owner who worked alongside him developing the technical side to offer a one-stop garage to the customer for all makes & ages of cars and light commercial vehicles.

The move to new premises has inevitably left behind the body repairs side and the amalgamation with the technical team of ‘SN’ (previous garage services at the site), who came along with the building, has provided continuity for the loyal customer bases from each company enhancing the already recognised qualities of both teams helping to retain a centre of excellence for the customer and their vehicles.
Offering a wealth of experience our technicians will treat all vehicles in the same manner to provide Vehicle Servicing, Maintenance and MOT. The success of any organisation depends very much on its employees so we actively support productive training that ultimately will benefit the client.
