We proudly introduce our brand “PHD”, which evolved from PHD ‐ a family business with a
history and legacy stretching 30 years in the UK and worldwide. The initials P‐H‐D actively
represents our vision:‐ P ‐ Practical approach; H ‐ Health & Safety; and D ‐ Delivery of quality
service in a timely manner.
Our strategy has always been to work with our clients, whom we treat as partners in a
changing industry. We assist with developing the project from tender stage to provide the
most cost effective and innovative solution, whilst ensuring Safety, Quality and Delivery
remain paramount. Our “triple ISO certification” (ISO9001‐14001‐18001) assists in this vision
and goal.
The brand “PHD” has been driven by innovation, we have a reputation for thinking outside
the box and have been renowned to be in the forefront for decades. We have been invited to
work for clients around the world to provide access solutions, where traditional methods do
not necessarily provide the safest method.
PHD is ISO18001 certified and is totally focused on Health & Safety throughout the company.
The message is driven constantly with various H&S initiatives. Our ISOs ensure competency is
measured and evaluated regularly.
PHD is focused on growing the business to a sustainable size with emphasis on Safety, Quality
