Located within easy distance of Rugeley, with its bus and train stations, as well as the M1 and M6 motorways, Colton House Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated for Staffordshire's local attractions. Why not take a trip to the potteries at Stoke, or visit Lichfield's famous cathedral? If you are looking for thrills and spills, Alton Towers and Drayton Manor theme parks are not far away, and if you are looking for a more active holiday, our bed and breakfast is located on the Staffordshire Way, and near to Cannock Chase, making it a perfect base for walking or cycling holidays.

-The House and Garden-

The interior of this charming bed and breakfast has been lovingly restored to retain the original elegance of the house. There are magnificent fireplaces, one of which displays the family's coat of arms, original oak panelling and a stunning oak wide staircase that rises from the hall through all three floors of the house.

Outside there is a 1.5 acre garden, with a large lawn, flower borders and a kitchen garden. Strategically placed seating offers beautiful views. There is a south facing patio with tables and umbrellas, where guests can enjoy a cup of tea or a relaxing drink from our fully stocked licensed bar.

The business traveler could find the bar, free wifi in all rooms, the business facilities i.e.copying and printing, and the secure parking, plus flat screen TVs some up to 60" with Freeview, HD and 3D, the luxury toiletries, soft fluffy towels and choice of refreshments and evening meals make it feel like a home from home. Also on offer are conference facilities, meeting rooms and an events venue.
