Welcome to Fort William's new The Highland Bookshop, opened by Alexander McCall Smith on 14th July 2017.

The Highland Bookshop has been set up by Kevin Ramage, owner of the award-winning Watermill Bookshop in Aberfeldy and Lochaber businessman and author Angus MacDonald.

The shop has an extensive range of titles across all subjects including Scottish interest, the outdoors, children's, fiction, as well as all non-fiction areas like history, food & drink.

Events over the coming weeks include:

Monday 7th August 7.30pm - Adam Nicolson talking about his new book The Seabird's Cry

Thursday 17th August 7pm - Lochaber Book Launch for Dion Alexander's The Potter's Tale
