General information
Age UK Somerset exists only to help make life better for the older people of Somerset and North Somerset.
There is much to celebrate about getting older, but our later years can also prove challenging: loss of confidence, lack of mobility, financial pressures and suffering from loneliness and isolation are just some of the issues our local older people face.
We offers a wide range of services and activities specifically developed to meet the needs of the over 60s. These include a popular Befriending service, an Information and Advice service, toe nail cutting clinics, lots of activity sessions, social groups and
sessions to build confidence with new skills such as cooking, or how to use a computer.
BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP….These services can only be provided with your support.
Through Volunteering, fundraising, making a small donation, leaving a legacy, or just helping us to spread the word, you could help Age UK Somerset to continue this valuable work, and help more older people to enjoy later life.
