The Gate

General information

Gateway Furniture Project was set up to meet the needs of the most vulnerable people of Swindon. We operate over 2 sites, our main warehouse in West Swindon and a retail outlet The Gate in the town centre. We provide low and no cost furniture, white goods, home starter packs and clothing to those most in need and help make a house a home. We rely on the generosity of donations from the public whom the project wouldn't run without. At The Gate there is a bistro style cafe offering free refreshments (donations welcome) and a children's play area. We also now sell new beds and bedroom furniture as well as high quality home furnishings at significantly reduced prices. Pop in, say hi and find out more about the work of Gateway Furniture Project.
