General information

Selby and District DIAL is a registered charity, which was set up to help people with disabilities, carers, families, involved professionals and all those whose lives are affected by disability, in the Selby district of North Yorkshire, England.

We are located in Selby Town Centre, opposite Selby Park with disabled access to the rear of the property. Blue Badge holders can park to the front of the premises, on the block paved area a few yards away.

Our offices are open from 10am to 3pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and we have an answerphone to take calls outside office hours.

We offer all our clients a warm welcome and provide a friendly environment, in which to help in any way we can.

We provide an Information and Advice service to clients on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to, Welfare Benefits for Employment and Support Allowance, Personal Independence Payments, Attendance Allowance, Carers Allowance, and Child Disability Living Allowance.

We also hire a range of wheelchairs.

Questions we are often asked include:

★ Please can you help me fill in complicated Welfare Benefits Forms?
★ Where can I get a new walking stick?
