Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery is located in the 19th century Music Hall and 13th century Vaughan's Mansion, a Grade II* listed medieval merchant's house. Five galleries of Shrewsbury and Shropshire history: Roman, Medieval, Tudor, Stuart and Shropshire Gallery. Special exhibition gallery with Vikings exhibition 'Valhalla-Life and Death in Viking Britain from 8th Feb to 5th June 2016. Cafe, shop and Visitor Information Centre. Tickets for events and guided walks. Souvenirs, local crafts, jewellery and books. Accessible throughout.
