At Granby we recognise that our team of practitioners are our greatest asset. They are the reason we provide outstanding childcare and are central to our successful business model.

A culture of collaborative and cooperative working has been established throughout the company. Directors and managers play a supportive role and are a constant source of advice and encouragement for practitioners.

They also believe that to truly support practitioners they need to have a ‘hands on’ role and this means that working directly with the children is a regular feature of their week.

We established our consultancy services because of our passion to share our outstanding practice. All the management team have a BA Hons or BA in Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. They all have strengths and interests in different specialisms within early years. We offer full and half day consultancy and will tailor packages to suit your needs.

Granby Nurseries company director, Jo Gray, is also currently working as a freelance Ofsted inspector carrying out inspections in early years settings across the East Midlands.

Some of the consultancy services we offer are:-

Pre Ofsted Inspections/mock ofsted inspections or pre-registration visits.

Practitioner training in all aspects of EYFS, outdoor play, continuous provision, characteristics of effective teaching and learning.

Practitioner appraisal and supervision, Policy and Procedures, Business start up support, Action Planning.
