General information
Located in the small parish of Hannington between Kingsclere & Basingstoke, The Vine was originally called The Wellington Arms as it sits on the land that once belonged to the estate of the Duke of Wellington. It was also known locally as The Shepherd's Crook and Shears but the name was officially changed to The Vine Inn in 1960, after The Vine and Craven Hunt whose kennels are nearby.
We are a family run business and are very fortunate to have a great team of staff who provide outstanding customer service.
We serve delicious home-cooked food, fine wines and real cask ales in our friendly traditional country pub. Dog and family friendly with a beautiful garden, conservatory and cosy bar with log fire.
We purchase our produce from local suppliers such as Wyatt's Butchers in Wolverton, John Burton's Foodmarket & Coopers of Andover.
