General information

We are at the heart of communities with centres right across Salford. Our friendly staff are always happy to welcome new people and they'll provide lots of help, support and advice on things like breastfeeding, babies' first foods, healthy eating , play and parenting tips. They also run fun activity sessions where you can talk to other parents, share experiences and make new friends.
We are here for everyone, and in particular, families who may need extra support. You can speak to midwives, health visitors, early years practitioners, and other professionals who visit the centre if you have concerns about your child's development or behaviour. Midwives and health visitors come to the centre to give you healthcare advice, from when you are pregnant through to your child's early years. They can give you support and advice on breastfeeding and first foods, and tips for healthy eating for life.
As well as general parenting and family support, we can also help you with finding a training course or getting back to work.
Come along to our baby massage, story rhyme time or stay and play sessions. You'll meet other parents and children in your area and have some fun with your little one.
If you're a young parent, join our group for under 25's and their children and meet others in the same situation.
In addition we provide quality childcare which can help your child get ready for starting school.
