UTC@MediaCityUK is located in the heart of MediaCityUK in Salford Quays. Our impressive four storey building provides a highly innovative learning space for 400+ students aged 14 to 19.
Like at any other school, we teach core academic subjects like English, Maths and Science. But alongside them, we offer four specialist areas of study, aimed at giving you a head start in the creative and digital industries.

• Graphics and design
Some of what we teach is academic, some of it involves hands-on experience. There is also a strong focus on developing entrepreneurial qualities such as creativity, problem-solving and determination – all vital in an industry where so many people are freelance or self-employed.
